Rankly reads your Akamai traffic through DataStream 2. You create a DataStream 2 configuration in Akamai Control Center with Rankly as the HTTPS destination.
Prerequisites. An Akamai delivery property, DataStream 2 access, and a verified domain in Rankly. Your ingest token is in Settings.

Setup

1

Create a DataStream 2 configuration

In Akamai Control Center, go to DataStream -> Create stream. Choose the property in front of your site and select DataStream 2.
2

Set Rankly as the destination

Choose a Custom HTTPS destination and configure:
SettingValue
Endpoint URLhttps://ingest.tryrankly.com/ingest/akamai?tenant=tnt_your_token
FormatJSON (newline-delimited)
Deliveryevery few seconds
3

Select the log fields

Include at least these DataStream 2 fields:
reqTimeSec, reqMethod, reqHost, reqPath, statusCode,
UA, cliIP, country, bytes, reqEndTime, reqId
Akamai URL-encodes some fields (like UA); Rankly decodes them automatically.
4

Activate and test

Activate the stream, then send a test request:
curl -A "GPTBot/1.0" https://your-domain.com/
Akamai batches events and sends them every few seconds, so the first event appears within a minute or two.
See Akamai’s field reference at techdocs.akamai.com/datastream2 if you need the full list of available fields.
